CARDIOLOGY

CONGESTIVE (CHRONIC) HEART FAILURE

Patients: 50 patients with congestive heart failure of NYHA class III–IV
Study design: Main group – 30 patients -Vitafon therapy along with standard drug therapy,
Control group – 20 patients – only standard therapy
Study duration: 3 months
Medical device: Vitafon and Vitafon-T
Research methods: Biochemical blood tests, ECG monitoring, and echocardiography using the ACCUSON 128xp/10c apparatus with assessment of functional class of heart failure according to NYHA, as well as monitoring of systolic and diastolic blood pressure

Vibroacoustic therapy has a significant impact on increasing glomerular filtration rate. In conjunction with drug therapy, it positively effects parameters of arterial pressure, increases minute diuresis, and reduces levels of albuminuria and hematuria compared to standard drug therapy without vibroacoustic treatment.

Patients: 39 patients with congestive heart failure
Study design: One group
Study duration: 3 months
Medical device: Vitafon and Vitafon-T
Research methods: Six-minute walk test, quality of life assessment using questionnaires, special tests (such as the Gencha and Stange tests), and monitoring of arterial blood pressure

Just one month after incorporating vibroacoustic therapy into the standard treatment therapy, significant reductions in edema were observed in all patients, accompanied by improved overall well-being. Microcirculation in the distal extremities improved, as did the color of the skin. There was a substantial decrease in moist rales in the lungs. Systolic and diastolic blood pressure reliably decreased. Physical exercise tolerance significantly increased. In some patients, based on the results of the six-minute walk test, the severity of heart failure decreased by two functional classes.

EFFORT ANGINA

Patients: 30 patients aged 17 to 70 years with effort angina of 1–2 functional class presenting with chest pain radiating to the left scapula and signs of myocardial ischemia on ECG
Study design: Main and control groups: 17 patients – Vitafon along with standard drug therapy, 13 patients – only standard therapy
Study duration: 1 month
Medical device: Vitafon
Research methods: Complete blood count and biochemical analysis, ECG, pulse monitoring, and blood pressure control

75% of patients of the main group experienced an improvement in their condition, including enhanced overall well-being and reduced retrosternal pain, leading to a decrease in the nitrosorbid dosage from 6 tablets to 1 tablet per day. Hemodynamic parameters improved (pulse normalized, elevated blood
pressure decreased), and the duration of hospital stays for patients decreased.

CARDIOSCLEROSIS

Patients: 16 patients with cardiosclerosis
Study design: Main and control group. 7 patients – Vitafon with standard drug therapy, 9 patinets – only standard therapy
Medical device: Vitafon
Research methods: Complete blood count and biochemical analysis, electrocardiogram (ECG), monitoring of pulse, and blood pressure control

During the course of treatment, 72% of patients in the main group experienced improvement in their overall condition. This improvement was characterized by the disappearance of chest pains, enhanced myocardial nutrition, improved intracardiac conduction, increased QRS voltage on ECG, normalization of blood pressure and pulse, and reduction in the severity of clinical manifestations of chronic heart failure.
